GSSSB Architectural Assistant (Class-3) Recruitment 2025

Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has announced direct recruitment for 21 Architectural Assistant (Class-3) posts under the Department of Town Planning and Urban Development. Eligible candidates can apply online from 04 August 2025 to 18 August 2025 through the official OJAS portal.

GSSSB Architectural Assistant Recruitment 2025 Job Overview:

Eligibility, Education Qualification & Experience:

• Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a recognized university or institute under UGC guidelines.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications.
  • Must have knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
  • Registration with the Council of Architecture (New Delhi) is mandatory at the time of appointment.

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 35 Years (as on 18-08-2025)

Age Relaxation (as per category rules):

• General Female: +5 years
• Reserved Male: +5 years
• Reserved Female: +10 years
• PWD Candidates: Up to 20 years based on category
• Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years

Salary:

• Fixed pay of ₹49,600/- per month for the first 5 years.
• After 5 years, eligible for Level-8 Pay Scale: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400 as per 7th Pay Commission (subject to satisfactory performance and Supreme Court decision).

3. Select Advertisement No. 343/2025-26 for Architectural Assistant (Class-3).
4. Fill the application form with accurate details.

7. Pay the application fee via online mode (Debit Card/UPI/Net Banking/Wallet).
8. Take a printout of the application and fee receipt for future reference.

• Written Exam (CBRT/OMR) – 2 Parts:
  • Part A – Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation (30 marks), Reasoning (30 marks)
  • Part B – Constitution, Current Affairs, Comprehension (30 marks), Subject-related questions (120 marks)
• Total Duration: 3 Hours
• Negative Marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer

Syllabus:

• Part A: Math, Data Interpretation, Reasoning
• Part B: Indian Constitution, Current Events, Gujarati/English Comprehension, Architecture-related subject knowledge
