Education Qualification
- Candidate must be from any University established under an Act of the Parliament of India or a State Legislature or an Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or UGC. A graduate or post graduate degree in Statistics or Applied Statistics or Mathematical Statistics or Economics or Applied Economics or Commercial Economics or Econometrics or Mathematics or Commercial Statistics or Applied Mathematics or Advanced Statistics as the main subject of an educational institution established as a University under Section-3 of Act-1956 should
- Should have passed the examination of computer skills prescribed as per Gujarat Civil Service Computer Efficiency (Training and Examination) Rules, 2006 regarding computer knowledge.
- Candidate should have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Gujarati/Hindi both languages.
Age limit
Candidate’s age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 37 years as on 16-01-2024. Candidates belonging to reserved category will get relaxation in age limit as per rules.
The upper age limit may be relaxed in favor of persons already in the service of the Government of Gujarat as per the provisions of the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules – 1967 as amended from time to time.
Salary scale
49,600/- for Research Assistant Class-3 for first five years and 40,800/- for Statistic Assistant Class-3 for first five years. Salary as per rules after completion of five years.
Examination Fee
All the candidates who have selected “General” category while filling the form (except PH and Ex. Servicemen category) have to pay Rs 100/- examination fee and transaction fee as per rules. Reserved category candidates do not have to pay the fee.
