Eligibility, Educational Qualification & Experience
1. Veterinary Doctor
- Degree in Veterinary Science or Animal Husbandry (BVSc or AH) from a recognized university.
- Must be recognized under the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications as per Gujarat Government norms.
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati & English or Hindi & English.
- Desirable: Experience in snake management at zoos, captive facilities, sanctuaries, or veterinary clinics.
2. Senior Scientific Assistant
- Master’s degree in Botany, Environmental Science, Forestry, Life Science, Zoology, or Wildlife Science.
- Basic computer knowledge as per government rules.
- Must be fluent in Gujarati & English or Hindi & English.
- Desirable: Experience in research, laboratory work, and snake handling; experience in report preparation, technical data interpretation, and proficiency in MS Office.
3. Serpentarium Curator
- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Botany, Zoology, Forestry, Wildlife Science, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related sciences.
- Must be recognized by relevant universities under UGC Act 1956.
- Knowledge of computers and Gujarati/English or Hindi/English.
- Desirable: Experience in feed management, snake rescue, sample collection, handling venomous and non-venomous snakes, and team leadership.
Age Limit
- Veterinary Doctor & Serpentarium Curator: Not more than 40 years
- Senior Scientific Assistant: Not more than 35 years
