- Qualification: Ph.D. + 4 Years OR M.E. + 6 Years OR B.E. / MCA + 9 Years
- Age Limit: Max 45 Years

Scientist-B (Library Science)
- Qualification: M.Lib/M.L.I.Sc + 1 Year Experience
- Age Limit: Max 35 Years

- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree + 5 Years’ relevant experience
- Age Limit: Max 30 Years (Relaxation for OBC/others as per norms)
