The Indian Army has released an official notification for Agniveer Women Military Police (GD) under the Agnipath Scheme for Recruiting Year 2027. Online applications are invited from unmarried female candidates belonging to Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, UT Chandigarh, and Delhi under Zonal Recruiting Office Ambala.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Class 10th / Matric Pass
  • Minimum 45% aggregate marks in five basic subjects
  • Minimum 33% marks in each subject
  • Indian Gorkhas – Simple Pass in Class 10
  • Candidates awaiting 10th result can apply (must produce original marksheet in Phase-II)

Age Limit

  • 17½ to 22 Years
  • Candidate must be born between 01 July 2005 to 01 July 2009
  • Widows of Defence personnel (died in harness) – Upper age relaxable up to 30 years

Physical Standards

Height

  • Minimum Height: 162 cm
  • 4 cm relaxation for:
    • North East Region
    • Gorkhas
    • Garhwalis
    • Ladakhis
    • Recognized Tribal Areas

Weight

  • As per official BMI chart (Minimum approx 47.2 kg for 162 cm height)

Chest Expansion

  • Minimum expansion: 5 cm
