Educational Qualification
To apply for the post of Surveyor, candidates must possess:
- A Diploma in Civil Engineering from:
- A recognized university established under Central or State Act,
- OR an institution declared as deemed university under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956.
Important Note: Candidates with a **Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering are NOT eligible.
In addition:
- You must have basic knowledge of computer applications as per the Gujarat Civil Services Rules, 1967.

- The fee must be paid online only through OJAS portal via Debit Card, UPI, Internet Banking, or Wallet.

Pay Scale / Salary
For the first 5 years, selected candidates will receive:
- Fixed Monthly Pay: ₹40,800/-
- After 5 years of satisfactory service:
- Regular pay under 7th Pay Commission: ₹29,200 – ₹92,300 (Pay Level-5)
Appointment is subject to Supreme Court decisions related to SLP No. 14124/2012 & 14125/2012.
