Gujarat National Law University Recruitment 2025: Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), Gandhinagar, has announced a Walk-in Interview for Research Associate, Research Assistant, and Field Investigator positions under the ICSSR-funded Major Project titled “Ensuring Availability: The Right to Insurance Services for Persons with Disabilities in the State of Gujarat.”
These roles are offered purely on a contractual basis for six (06) months and are an excellent opportunity for qualified individuals in social sciences to engage in interdisciplinary research related to law, insurance, and disability studies.

Eligibility Criteria
Research Associate
- Postgraduate in Social Science with minimum 55% marks
- Must have NET/M.Phil/Ph.D
- Minimum two years research experience as a Research Assistant in any project
Research Assistant
- Postgraduate in Social Science with minimum 55%
- NET/M.Phil/Ph.D required
Field Investigator
- Postgraduate in Social Science with minimum 55%
Preferred Expertise – GNLU Research Roles 2025
Candidates with knowledge in Insurance Services, Law, Economics, Management, or disciplines related to Disability Studies will be preferred.
Desired Skills – GNLU Walk-in 2025
- Familiarity with national/international trends in law and research
- MS Office and IT proficiency
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills in English
- Experience in empirical research
- Published articles or research papers in reputed journals
- Participation in State/National conferences

Roles and Responsibilities – ICSSR Project @ GNLU
The selected candidates will work under the Principal Investigator/Co-Investigator and perform duties such as:
- Conduct interdisciplinary research aligned with project objectives
- Assist in developing qualitative and quantitative tools
- Perform data collection, dataset compilation, interpretation, and report writing
- Support project coordination and administrative tasks
