Eligibility Criteria
For Indian Economic Service (IES)
- Post Graduate Degree in:
- Economics
- Applied Economics
- Business Economics
- Econometrics
(From recognized University)
For Indian Statistical Service (ISS)
- Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subjects in all years
OR - Master’s Degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics
Age Limit (As on 01 August 2026)
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Candidate must be born between 02 August 1996 to 01 August 2005
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 Years

- Ex-Servicemen: 5 Years
- PwBD: 10 Years

Salary
Selected candidates will be appointed in Junior Time Scale of IES/ISS under Government of India.
